At DRK Builders Ltd, we are seeking a motivated Assistant Site Manager for finishing works to join our team in Mauritius. This full-time role involves assisting in the planning and coordination of finishing activities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting site inspections, managing materials and inventory, resolving disputes, and preparing site reports. Knowledge of construction safety regulations and finishing work techniques is essential. Qualifications/Experience:

• Graduate with a degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience.
• Practical experience working in the construction industry as a project finishing supervisor.
• Experience in Aluminium/Doors/wooden work/swimming pool.
• Good experience in painting and landscaping.
• Experience in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing)

Roles and responsibilities:

• Mainly work as a finishing supervisor.
• Recognize the issue and solve according to their experience in industry.
• Inspect all tools and equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Use and care of power tools such as grinder, circular saws, tools, etc.
• Aware with the deadline to completion of work.
• Preparing and presenting report to project manager.

Skills required:

• Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with a range of people, including subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
• Problem-solving skills to quickly and effectively address any issues or delays that may arise during the finishing process.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure all work is completed to a high standard, and in accordance with plans and specifications.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to be on their feet for extended periods of time, often in challenging weather conditions.
• Leadership skills to guide, motivate, and manage the team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
